Lapis
Lapis lazuli is a deep-blue metamorphic rock that has been prized since antiquity for its deep intense color. During the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, it was the most expensive paint pigment available second to gold. We love using lapis with high carat yellow gold as the contrast is purely stunning.
Care:
Use the golden rule “last to wear and first to remove” with lapis. Use a soft cloth, not an abrasive cloth, to wipe your jewelry. Avoid chemicals, sanitizers, acids and heating the stone.
