JASPER

Jasper, Greek for ‘spotted stone’ is an opaque variety of chalcedony that is usually brown, yellow or reddish colors. It almost always is multicolor, has unique patterns and colors. Depending on the geographic region that they originate from, picture jaspers exhibit natural color combinations that resemble beaches, mountains, and desert landscapes.
