BLUE CHALCEDONY

Out of the family of chalcedonies, which can come in a variety of colors, we love to use blue. It reminds us of clear skies and happy times. It is named after the ancient seaport of Chalcedon in Turkey. There is a lot of dyed chalcedony material out there… we don’t use it.

Care:

Avoid harsh household chemicals like bleach, and sulfuric acid since it is a porous stone. Avoid exposures to high temperature.

Known Treatments:

dyed; but we do not use dyed chalcedony. Only natural colors.
